Italian Love!

Yes, that's  my new found love. Well, slightly newer than, let's say... 7 months? As a non-connoisseur, I can't talk the fine kitchen Italian, but yes, I LOVE PASTA! I've experimented with penne, fusilli and spaghetti. As of sauces, I've tried tomato & basil, mushroom & parmesan, extra parmesan, parmesan & herbs, and lastly, homemade classic tomato sauce, and homemade mozzarrella & parmesan white sauce. The pics aren't so good, solely because it was getting painful to see the saucy food get cold in the process of getting the right click ;) So, I think it's wise to take some sober pics the next time I get to make something nice!

PS: I wouldn't mind a professional photographer, too. Condition: must be devoid of proactive taste-buds

Solitary Soda

It is another day and I am trying to work on my report. Singlehood can get taxing at times: you have to find ways of keeping busy. And when "busy" becomes boring and no longer exciting, you need to find ways of keeping happy. I want to try something new! And what about having fun?

While I am working, I also feel pretty sick at having to sit quiet all the time. Working at home doesn't seem all that rocking. Art House Cafe too seems like a "better luck next time", I'm saving for my (hopefully) upcoming trips to meet Dina and Monts.

I guess it's time to check my... REFRIGERATOR. Soda, what else? Wait... Soda!

*^@$#%$))_!$$#@@&&***(()*&&&!
That's what I must have told myself when I saw it... That translates in human language to something like: EUREKA! TIME TO DRINK!! So here's what came out of mixing ice-cold soda with Rooh Afza and then topping it up with vanilla scoops. Btw, if you plan to try this, do leave some room in the glass before you pop in the ice cream. There was an amazing reaction between soda and the ice-cream, rather a yummilization reaction ;) The output tastes good and I couldn't help but click a few snaps. This helps to record just another kiddish way of pouring happiness into an otherwise empty glass! Pictures below, and Solitary Soda is Served Upright!

Lickably Coffee

I had just taken a shower and had to leave for a meeting in 2 hours. Wanted to watch A Woman in Winter that was aired on Zee Studio yesterday. I watched it a bit and girl, it was gripping! Couldn’t watch it entirely, and couldn’t find it on YouTube either. So, while searching for a download torrent, I read Dina’s reply on my wall post, she had suggested that I drink a glass of coffee and take a shower to help my mind ease. Hmmm… shower I had taken, what about the coffee?
The half-eaten 5-star was looking at me as if I had done injustice to it. How could I let it go waste?? So there came a drink to cherish the wonder that 5-star really is!
The next thing to happen was this: Double scoop chocolate ice-cream coffee shake with molten 5-star on top… and the experiment result looked like the pictures below:
PS: how would that go for the “Happy Singles” section of a Cafe?
